MANUAL DE INSTRUÇÕES E CUIDADOS COM ALINHADORES INVISÍVEIS
1. Introduction EVOAligner invisible aligners are custom orthodontic medical devices designed for gradual and controlled tooth movement. This manual provides essential instructions for the correct use, care and maintenance of the aligners, ensuring effective and safe treatment, in compliance with the European Regulation (MDR).
2. Indications for Use Aligners are indicated for correcting dental misalignments and small irregularities in the occlusion, according to the treatment plan prescribed by the dentist.
3. Contraindications The use of aligners is not recommended in cases of: Active periodontal disease;
Primary dentition or unstable eruption phase;
Need for movements that require bone anchorage or surgery;
Known allergy to aligner materials.
4. How to use Placement: Carefully insert the aligner over the teeth, starting with the front teeth and pressing gently until it fits completely.
Usage time: Use the aligners for 22 hours a day, removing them only during meals and oral hygiene.
Changing aligners: Replace your aligner as directed by your dentist (usually every 7 to 14 days).
Initial sensation: It is normal to feel slight pressure or discomfort at first.
5. Care and Maintenance Cleaning: Wash with cold water and a soft brush. Do not use abrasive products.
Avoid heat: Do not expose the aligners to excessive heat (hot water).
Storage: Store your aligners in the case provided.
Food: Do not eat or drink (except plain water) with aligners in place.
6. Possible Side Effects Sensation of pressure in the teeth;
Minor irritations in the mucous membrane;
Temporary increase in salivary flow or dry mouth.
If unusual symptoms persist, contact your dentist immediately.
7. Precautions and Warnings Strictly individual use;
Comply with daily usage time;
In case of damage or loss of the aligner, contact your dentist immediately;
Exclusive use under dentist supervision.
